I think a lot of Bible studies that I did led me leaving the church and leaving Christianity, says Asia. Especially the studies I did on hell. I used to do very in depth Bible studies. I was pretty obsessed about it. What struck me was that the Bible was not consistent or specific about hell. I dealt with too many Biblical fundamentalists and I just got tired of constantly trying to use their interpretation of the Bible to argue for basic human rights.
